My visit to the Great Wall of China

Today i walked on the Great Wall of China, it was 5,500 miles long, was built in 221-206 BCE durign the Qin Dynasty, and was built under the law of Emperor Qin, who united the parts of china during 221 BC. The Great Wall was built to keep the mongol nomads out. in the 20th century and in 1987 the Great Wall of China was made a Heritage Site. Today, a portion about 50 miles long from Beijing attracts thousands of tourists every day. People tell me that legends get stated in China and DON'T dissapear...many people say that the Great Wall is the only man-made object that can be seen from the moon and/or space with the naked eye, some believe that this legend is nothing more than a mistaken Trivial Pursuit question. From a low orbit of space people are able to see many artificial objects are visible on Earth.
